In 2017, the neighborhood of Kirkwood in Atlanta, GA commissioned me to do a mural on the side of Langford's Barbershop and Style Center.
The mural is a historical memorial of those in the neighborhood. I met with Mike Langford, owner of Langford's Barbershop to decide on a concept. He chose the figures he wanted represented on the mural - those who had been important to the history of Kirkwood and also instrumental in his life.
The mural was painted with Sherwin Williams Resilience paint, donated by the Kirkwood Sherwin Williams store, and coated with an anti-graffiti coating.
